- Philippians 4:13
1. Citizenship Class / ESL (more than 8yrs)
2. Punjabi Ministry
3. Ministry for the homeless and the needy
September of 2019 God led us to start a small group for Punjabi’s with the help of Pastor Dave Bryan of The Church of Glad Tidings in Yuba City, along with the use of their beautiful facility. Our target people are those students from the Citizenship class that we are trying to reach out to with the Gospel. This ministry is like a relief organization and helps prepare people’s hearts for a latter presentation of the Gospel. We prepare and serve food as part of our goal to be able to know each other and to build relationships with one another. We started the group with 5 to 7 people, and now it is up to 15. They've also started bringing food to share with the group which shows their interest and enjoyment of the fellowship.
In December of 2019, God gave the desire of our hearts to be able to help, serve and minister again to the homeless. Again, through the all-out support of Pastor Dave of Church of Glad Tidings and with the help of individuals with the same vision as ours, we bring the Good News of the Gospel. The church lets us use their kitchen and provides whatever items we need for the feeding. We limit our lunch bags to 30 people so that we have time to sit with them, to hear their hurts, meet their needs, encourage them and give them hope and point them to Jesus resulting in many people coming to Christ. For us that brings so much joy and strengthens our spirit.
“For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”
- Philippians 2:13
Let us have Jesus Christ Himself in us to do the works, and let us every moment fall back on Him both to will and to do in us of His good pleasure.
