We are Bob & Linda Koenig, residing in Capitan, NM, in the foothills amongst the Sacramento and Capitan Mountains in SE New Mexico. We attend church at Saddle Creek Cowboy Church, a new work here in Capitan, though I am still very much part of Grace Harvest Church near Ruidoso. Both seem to be very biblically balanced evangelical churches, centered in grace, faith and our Lord Jesus! Many of you remember my first wife, Judi, whom we lost to cancer in 2011.

As to current events, Linda's ministry and other activity is mainly at home now, as she deals with serious respiratory issues. My ministry is wherever -- home and out and about among people. My current focus is being a useable and available person in God's vineyard, primarily being into friendship evangelism and helps activities. A guiding principle I use from Micah 6:8 is that of doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God. Also I am having good success with the Jabez prayer guidance, (1 Chronicles 4:9-10), as adapted to our age of grace. That of asking for God to bless us exceedingly, to expand the influence my witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to be with me, and to keep me from evil, (and keep evil from finding me!) All this plays into daily prep for intentional ministry, as God in Christ provides the opportunities.

Other aspects of our lives include family life, and me still out hiking and jogging the mountain trails out in God’s Creation, Honor Guard locally for deceased veterans, amateur botany, amateur radio, car, house and grounds maintenance... And there is the temporary employment that becomes necessary from time to time, which of course provides even more ministry opportunity.
