Inpam & Karminie Moses

Our ministry is focused on our vision to have a "church without walls." By this we meant that we want to reach out to people in their places of work, in homes and wherever the opportunity opens up to serve the Lord. We are currently church planting in the Vancouver area. Arise International Ministries is a church plant that we pioneered and "birthed" on October 14, 2007. We, at Arise, continue with our vision to win souls for Christ. Denomination is not a barrier, and we, by the help of God "will break down dividing walls".

Preparations for Sri Lanka

Karminie and I have been very busy getting prepared for our trip to Sri Lanka. Many of you may know that we will be there from December to April.

We are going to help out in various churches where there are various needs. We will be visiting the churches we pioneered, seeing our “spiritual children”,  doing workshops, taking seminars, preaching and also seeing what we can to do help in their social needs as well.
There already invitations from other churches and pastors from parts of the Island, and we need to prepare ourselves for the unexpected I suppose.

We would appreciate your prayers.
Please pray specifically for
1- Wisdom in dealing with the various situations
2- Travelling mercies as we travel to the various parts of the Island
3- God’s guidance in our workshops and preaching
4- Finances to do the tasks the Lord has entrusted to us
5- Prayer is also needed that the Lord will keep us healthy and strong to do His will

Greetings in Jesus Name
Just a few lines to tell you as to what’s going on in our lives!

RETIRED
I have “retired” and so has Karminie.
All of you may be aware that I’ve been out of the Church since December. Karminie retired in the end of October.
This was not in the time frame that we anticipated, therefore the transition was not very easy, but we a been waiting on the Lord for guidance regarding the future.

WHAT WE DO NOW
In the mean time, we have been busy, in Toronto in December and January having many meetings sand making contact with friends and relatives. We came back to Vancouver in January and we are having some meetings in homes from time to time. Usually on Tuesdays, we have a “conference-prayer” with a pastor in Jerusalem at 6.30 in the morning. This is interesting, and we meet him ( Pastor Sam) via the internet whenever we can. We also go to the Horizon Church (Foursquare) on Sundays and visit Calvary Church which is very close to our home. We also occasionally visit one or two homes, depending on the availability of the people.

WHAT WE WANT TO DO
We’ve been praying and thinking of missions to Sri Lanka after October or November. We are preparing ourselves for this in many ways. There are many details to think about, like raising the funds for missions, to get a church or an organisation to at least partially sponsor us, and re-establish connections with people back in Lanka. We have so many things at home to be taken care of. It is kind of overwhelming, but the Lord will undertake.

OUR VISION
” You have many instructors in Christ but not many Fathers” ( 1 Corinthians 4: 15)
We have many” Spiritual children” who are having many churches and ministries all over in Sri Lanka, especially in the east in a place called “Batticaloa” . Batticaloa is where we pioneered our ministry for over 23 years. There is a need for mentoring, counselling, and personal pastoral care for pastors. Many of them regard me as their “father” and I am praying as we get in contact with them again, that we will be able to have conferences, on various subjects. We want to encourage them and help them in various ways.

PRAYER REQUESTS
For Wisdom and direction for future plans
For direction in re establishing connections
For suitable accommodation
For funds for our medical and other expenses

Please continue to pray for us as we plan to move forward in His Name.

God Bless you all
Inpam & Karminie
